  • Overview

    The Learning and Performance Specialist position provides curriculum design and development support for Rho’s Training and Development efforts. Duties include creating and developing training modules, maintaining training website content, providing support for the development and delivery of training materials, and other administrative support duties for the Training group.


    Specific duties may include (but are not limited to):

    • Developing professional learning curricula.
    • Deliver professional learning using a variety of methods.
    • Supporting the design of internal eLearning or digital learning modules
    • Coordinates or performs administrative functions necessary to deliver and document training and learning programs
    • Coordinating the development of materials, including interacting with Subject Matter Experts, fact checking, editing and formatting materials
    • Scheduling annual company trainings, organizing, and communicating Rho’s quarterly Training Day
    • Coordinating, producing, and editing audio and video content
    • Maintaining and updating internal training catalog content
    • Creating evaluation criteria for internal learning and training programs and recording data
    • Providing input on instructional design to Subject Matter Experts who present face-to-face professional learning.


    • BA/BS in HR, Education, Instructional Design, Communications, Visual Arts, Psychology or related field
    • 3+ years of instructional design and eLearning/digital learning development experience
    • Must be detail/task oriented
    • Ability to work in a matrix environment and work collaboratively at all levels
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Experience with eLearning or digital learning
    • Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities is essential
    • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Independent, self-motivated, and success driven
    • Ability to multi-task and manage competing demands
    • Previous experience with presenting trainings to small and large groups of internal and external stakeholders in blended environments is preferred
    • Desire to learn and grow professionally
    • Knowledge of adult learning theory and/or experience in leading adult learning.
