  • Overview

    Rho’s greatest asset is our people, and as we continue to grow, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a critical role in attracting, identifying and hiring the best and brightest talent in the CRO/pharmaceuticals industry. The selected candidate will be results-oriented and will work directly with the Director, HR on all aspects of talent acquisition, including recruitment strategy, full life cycle recruiting and creating recruiting techniques to ensure open positions are being filled in a timely manner. 


    • Responsible for full cycle recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, scheduling and follow-up with both candidates and internal stakeholders
    • Continually conduct outreach efforts to build a pipeline of talented individuals
    • Assist with employment brand initiatives via social media, attending industry conferences and career fairs, and networking with industry associations
    • Proactively source candidates using a variety of resources, including internet and social media
    • Identify and implement best recruiting practices in order to hire qualified candidates quickly and efficiently, including implementation of targeted candidate recruiting strategies
    • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience, which exhibits Rho’s core values, including communication, scheduling and assessments
    • Act as a Rho employment brand ambassador at all times
    • Assist with the development and administration of Rho’s intern program
    • Develop relationships with degreed programs at universities and colleges
    • Develop and maintain reporting metrics for recruiting initiatives, as needed
    • Ensure all hiring and recruiting efforts are compliant with Rho’s policies and procedures
    • Build relationships with internal hiring leaders to fully understand their needs
    • Utilize Applicant Tracking System (iCIMS) to efficiently process and track candidates
    • Support recruiting projects and initiatives
    • Provide leadership and guidance to interview teams including the identification of critical competencies and effective candidate evaluation
    • Work collaboratively with other HR Professionals


    • Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years’ experience with full life-cycle recruiting; experience with a contract research organization, pharmaceutical company or in life sciences industry is required
    • Demonstrated success with talent acquisition programs, including sourcing candidates and creating new recruiting initiatives
    • Experience working with an applicant tracking system and well versed in OFCCP and US employment laws
    • Ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and candidates
    • Ability to work in a matrix environment and work collaboratively at all levels
    • Ability to successfully develop a pipeline of qualified applicants
    • Previous experience with utilizing data metrics to drive recruiting programs is preferred
    • Ability to manage competing priorities
    • Exhibits excellent interpersonal and communications skills and a customer service approach to daily responsibilities
    • Ability to travel as needed
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
