  • Overview

    Rho, a contract research organization, is experiencing high growth and is adding to our HR team. We are currently searching for a Senior HR Generalist to support the business by acting as a consultant to employees and leaders, serving as a change management leader, driving our company culture and providing human resources solutions to assigned customers and projects. This position will be responsible for working closely with business leaders and maintaining effective working relationships throughout Rho and with key external contacts, such as recruiters, job applicants, etc.

    Responsibilities

    • Providing strategic and tactical HR support for assigned business areas.
    • Assisting with developing HR plans and strategies to support the organization’s goals and growth.
    • Managing a full cycle recruiting process, including reviewing resumes, creating job postings, scheduling and conducting interviews, extending offers of employment, and working with outside agencies.
    • In conjunction with the HR team, supporting and developing the Company’s recruiting strategy and initiatives.
    • Interpreting company policies and answering related questions.
    • Providing coaching and counsel to leadership on issues ranging from performance management, job descriptions, employee relations, training/development, salary administration, and promotions/transfers.
    • Providing leadership on specific HR related tasks and projects.
    • Working with the Director, HR identifies new programs and initiatives to meet Company needs, including data-driven projects.

    Qualifications

    • Requires BA/BS Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related degree.
    • Minimum 8-10 years of progressive human resources generalist experience.
    • PHR or other HR certification is strongly preferred.
    • The successful candidate will be a team player with integrity, a commitment to quality, and the ability to think critically and creatively in a fast-paced, changing environment. Candidates must possess strong business acumen, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
    • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
    • Previous experience with an applicant tracking system and HRIS system is required.
    • Demonstrated success with agility and adaptability when providing support to the organization.
    • Great at building relationships and helping to drive company culture.
    • Prior HR experience supporting professional services within the biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
