  • Overview

    The Clinical Intern will learn about the various functions and roles within the pharmaceutical research and development industry, including but not limited to project management, clinical operations, TMF management, technology, QA, business development, and data management. Interns will be responsible for providing overall administrative support to different functional teams and ensuring all assigned activities are performed timely and accurately. This may include assistance with document preparation, maintenance and filing, data entry and review, quality checks of documents, tracking activities and completion of required forms. This individual will interface directly with internal project team members, and will receive tasks under the direction of functional area leaders.

     

    This is a paid, full time internship (40 hrs/week) and is office based in Chapel Hill, NC. Please note Rho’s offices will be moving to RTP in spring 2019.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist team members with the completion of functional area specific tasks
    • Review required documentation to ensure quality control of filed documents
    • Communicate with Rho project team members to obtain information necessary to resolve issues
    • Attend meetings and other learning opportunities
    • Drafting correspondence such as emails, memos, meeting minutes and reports
    • Prepare and maintain documentation, plans, reports, schedules, databases, spreadsheets, logs, etc. to support all functional areas
    • Provide administrative assistance for special projects as required
    • Attend departmental specific training
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    The exact areas of assignment will vary depending on current business needs and on-going projects at the time of the internship.

     

     

    Qualifications

    • Must be enrolled in an Undergraduate or Graduate program at Campbell
    • Must be detail-oriented
    • Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
    • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
    • Knowledge and experience with basic Microsoft tools/Windows software
