Overview

The Clinical Systems Analyst I serves as a Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) Specialist and is accountable for the oversight and management of post-implementation activities.

Responsibilities

The Clinical Systems Analyst I serves as a Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) Specialist and is accountable for the oversight and management of post-implementation activities. These activities include training, support, data entry, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the application with our end users in accordance with Rho Procedural Documents (e.g., review and update of user resources, and development of new tools).  This role is a contributing team member who also collaborates with cross-functional SMEs and clients to achieve application integration in order to meet clinical operations and business needs. 

 

This position also includes opportunities to perform workflow assessments, capture business needs, and analyze internal systems to determine functional requirements.  Additional opportunities are available to support CTMS software upgrades, patches, and point releases, functionality testing, and issue management where relevant.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS required, advanced degree with scientific or health-care training preferred
  • 2 years minimum experience working in a clinical research/clinical development industry or technology
  • Familiarity with site monitoring report completion and generation; direct experience is preferred
  • Experience with CTMS software; administrative experience preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of FDA & ICH/GCP regulations and guidelines, preferred
  • Must have excellent computer skills, including experience in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with ability to quickly and efficiently learn CTMS and other computer systems
  • Ability to maintain high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Must exhibit professionalism and communicate effectively
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills, sufficient to multi-task in an extremely fast-paced environment
  • Independently motivated and good problem solving ability
